THIS WEBSITE IS DEDICATED TO THE HISTORY AND GENEALOGY OF THE SATAMKER (SATAMKAR) FAMILY FROM SATAMBA / VIRJOLI IN ROHA TALUKA.

When Moshe arrived for the first time, two weeks ago, in Virjoli /Satambe, the village where his ancestors lived for centuries, his first visit was for the family cemetery.

He knew that a wall was under construction, surrounding the cemetery.

But he could not imagine that this wall would be built on his brother Jacob’s grave and that the earth extracted to dig the trench would be poured on his grand father’s grave, on his great grand father’s grave, on his great grand mother’s grave and on another relative’s grave. 2 of these graves completely disappeared.
